When can I start with the recovery?

After a normal spontaneous birth, you can start the course about 6-8 weeks after delivery. In the case of a caesarean section, the start date is pushed back a little.

What is regression? Regression begins right after birth. The birth wounds heal slowly, the uterus shrinks and the body adjusts to the time ahead. The so-called postpartum bed should be used intensively to primarily take care of yourself and the new family member and to get to know each other. After about 6 weeks, the natural recovery process is largely complete. But what happens after this time? Will you be as fit as you were before you got pregnant?

No... now we are entering the active phase. In my postnatal course based on the SuperMAMAfitness concept, we will try over the next 10 weeks to get back to how it was before the pregnancy.


In the course we want to address the following topics, among others:


  • Get to know, perceive and strengthen the pelvic floor
  • discuss physiological movements
  • carry out your own abdominal massage to stimulate recovery processes
  • Foot massage and fascia training
  • healthy eating during recovery
  • Diastasis recti and taping
  • love-life balance
  • And the most important thing: We have time to talk about the small and big challenges of our little rascals
